ONLINE APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO B.Ed. NERIE, SHILLONG
Online Applications are invited for Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2021-23 for admission to regular 2 year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) full time course at NERIE,
NCERT Umiam, Meghalaya. The following courses offered by the Regional Institutes of Education located at Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Mysuru, and Shillong.
- B.Ed. (Two Year)
➤ NERIE SHILLONG:
- COURSE NAME: B.ED.
- ELIGIBLITY: Candidates with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree / Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science or Mathematics or in Bachelor’s Degree are eligible for admission to the programme (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD /EWS candidates).
- SELECTION PROCCESS:
- 60% from entrance examination and 40% from our definitions of aggregate scores for
- Aggregate score will be defined as:
- For B.Ed. obtained total marks of qualifying degree examination out of the maximum marks of qualifying degree examination.
- TIE Cases will be decided by scores of Teaching Aptitude test. Further TIE will be decided on the basis of age.
- Merit list will consider 3 digits after decimal with rounding off
- Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination up to two years back i.e., 2019, 2020 and appearing / appeared in 2021, There is no restriction in the passing year to apply in B.Ed.
- Counseling and Admission: The Counseling and admission will be done in respective RIEs. The details of the counseling and admission procedures and dates will be available on the websites of concerned RIEs. - SEAT: A) Science and Mathematics Group- 25 seats b) Social Science and Language Group- 25 seats

- DOWNLOADING ADMIT CARD: Candidate will have to download their admit card from 10/07/2021 to 18/07/2021. Print this Admit Card and bring it along with you for the common entrance examination.

- RESULT: The result of B.Ed. Programme will be declared on 05/08/2021
