1. Name of the Posts: Junior Administrative Assistant
No. of Posts: 27 (Twenty Seven)
Category wise vacancy: OBC/MOBC- 03, SC-01, ST(P)-06, ST(H)- 03, UR- 08, EWS-05, PWD-01
Pay Scale: 14000- 49000 Grade Pay- 8700
Age Limit: Minimum age of candidate is 18 years and maximum age limit 40 years. The upper age limit relaxation as per govt. rules
Qualification: The minimum educational qualification of the candidate shall be a Bachelor Degree in Arts/Commerce/Science of a Govt. recognized university
Desirable: Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application
2. Name of the Posts: Junior Accountant
No. of Posts: 17
Category wise vacancy: OBC/MOBC- 03, SC-0, ST(P)-04, ST(H)- 02, UR- 01, EWS-05, PWD-02
Pay Scale: 14000- 49000 Grade Pay- 8700

AAU Recruitment Non-Teaching Staff
1. Candidate must submit the permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) along with the application form.
2. In service candidates shall have to submit an NOC from their respective Department/organization
3. EWS candidates must produce Income and Assets Certificate of the family having the validity for the year 2022-2023 and issued by the officer not below the rank of circle officer.
4. The selection and appointment shall be made as per AAU rule.
AAU Non-Teaching staff selection process
For the Post of Junior Accountant, Junior Admin. Assistant and Laboratory Assistant the eligible candidates shall have to appear in a written examination, the details will be updated when officially published by the Assam Agricultural University Jorhat.
Application fees
The candidates have to deposit an application fees as follows
a) Rs. 500/- for UR, OBC/MOBC, EWS Candidates
b) Rs. 250/- SC, ST(P), ST(H) and PWD candidates
The fees shall have to deposited by way of online payment gateways provided in the online portal
