Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Computer Assistant in the Principal Seat as well as Law Research Institute of the Gauhati High Court in the usual scale in the PB-2 with Scale Rs. 14000-60500/- and Grade Pay of Rs. 6200/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.

➤ QUALIFICATION:
Candidate must passed a Bachelor Degree from a recognized University. Candidate shall possess a certificate/diploma in computer operation The candidate must be well in execution of works such as DTP works, data entry and basic hardware maintenance including installation of various devices like as scanners, printers, etc., setting up and configuring LAN, Using utilities, application software, web designing and web based application software and Web based applications of computers
➤ SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Stage-I
Written Examination (Objective type MCQ multiple choices) for 120 marks of Two hours duration on OMR answer scripts testing the General Knowledge (2O marks), English Proficiency (Twenty marks), General Aptitude and Reasoning
(Ten marks), Technical knowledge (Fifty marks) as well as knowledge of
Assamese language (Twenty marks).
Stage-II
Viva voce/Interview of 20 marks. Ratio of the Candidates 1:3 (3 candidates for 1 post) will be called for interview from the stage 1.

➤TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Candidates need not submit any certificate/ testimonial at the time of online submission application, However, candidates have to produce their original testimonials
regarding educational qualifications, computer qualifications, date of birth, caste,
working experience etc. at subsequent stages when asked for.
2. Candidates at all the examination stages of the selection process will be provisional and subject to satisfying the mentioned eligibility conditions. The
application will be scrutiny at every stage and shall be rejected if any
defect particular is detected.
3. List of provisional candidates, with allotted Roll Numbers. will be display in the
High Court website for the candidates' reference.
4. No TA/DA shall be paid to the applicants for appearing in the written skill/test test interview etc.
5. Candidates who are already serve in the Govt. Service (PSU or Central State) apply through proper channel. "No Objection
Certificate" Candidates shall have to produce from the present Employer at the time of candidate document verification before viva-voce/ interview and they will have to submit release order at the time of
joining,
6. Application form Candidates, which is incomplete in any stage, such as, without photograph
and signature, is liable to be rejected.
7. Candidate will be responsible for mistake made by him/her in the online application form and the High Court shall not be responsible or liable for mistakes.
8. The certificate for claim of reservation must be issued by competent authority.
