NIT Silchar has realesed an employment notification for the Recruitment of 55 Non-Teaching vacancy. NIT Silchar invites applications from Indian Nationals
possessing consistently well academic background and requisite qualifications and experience for the following
posts:
1. Name of the Post: Registrar

UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University/Institute.

i) Holding analogous post
ii. At least fifteen years’ experience as Assistant Prof. in the AGP of
₹7000 (i.e Level – 11) and above or with 8 years of service in the
AGP of ₹8,000 (i.e Level – 12) and above including as Associate
Professor along with 3 years’ experience in educational
administration or
iii. Experience in research establishment and /or other
institutions of higher education, or
iv. Fifteen years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as
Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in the GP of ₹ 7,600.00 (i.e.
Level – 12) or above

a)Qualification in area of Management / Engineering /Law
b) Experience in digital administration / legal /establishment matters/financial
