Salary: Community Health Officer (CHO) on contractual basis shall be paid remuneration/salary of Rs 25,000 PM and monthly performance-based incentive Up to of Rs 15,000 (Fifteen Thousand) per month.
Age: Maximum 43 years as on 01-06-2021
a) The candidate must have passed Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) or B.Sc. (Nursing) with Integrated Certificate Course in the Community Health in the academic year 2019-2020 are only eligible for apply for this post
b) Post Basic B. Sc Nursing/B.Sc.(Nursing) passed from a Nursing institution/University recognized by Assam Nurses Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council/Indian Nursing Council
c) Candidates must be Registered (RNRM) Nurse Registered Midwife from Assam Nurses Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council.
d) Candidates shall submit a Certificate (Appendix-I) from the Principal of their respective last qualifying Nursing College (where from the candidates has passed the Nursing Course) for confirmation of the Integrated Certificate Course in Community Health (CH) as per given format (Appendix I)
Desirable: Proficiency in local language
Selection Process:
1. All applications will be subjected to be a screening process of selection and candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks obtained in final year examination of the last qualifying degree/course that is Merit Wise in their last qualified examination (Post Basic B. Sc Nursing Course)/ (Final Year B. Sc Nursing Course)

Posting:
The (CHO) Community Health Officer cadre is a part of an initiative of under the "Ayushman Bharat" to strengthen of Sub-Centers as Health and Wellness Centers (H&WCs) for extending the primary health cares service at the Sub-Centre area by strengthening the implementation of the public health programmes, including health promotion and disease prevention. Candidates thus selected for the mentioned post shall be posted at Wellness Centre & Sub-Centers Health as Community Health Officer to lead a primary health care team for consisting of frontline workers such as this Male Health Worker (MPWs) Female Health Workers (ANMs), and ASHAs are working under the Sub-Centre.
