Name of the Post: SI (Un-Armed Branch)

No. of Posts: 306 Nos.

Pay Scale: Rs. 14000- 60500 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 8700/- Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.

General (Unreserved): 126

OBC/MOBC: 83

SC: 21

ST(H): 15 

ST(P): 31

EWS: 30

Reservation Policy:

# 30% (thirty percent) of the vacancies in each category are reserved for women. 

# Ten percent (10%) reservation for persons belonging to EWS who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs

Age Limit

# Candidate should not be more than 26 years and less than 20 years of age as on 01-07-2021. (Candidate must be born on or before 01-07-2001 and on or after 01-07-1995).

Relaxation of Upper Age Limit

# 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST(H). 

(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.

 For the purpose of determining the age limit, the SLPRB will accept only the date of birth recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent examination certificate issued by the recognized education Board. No other documents relating to age such as horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporations, service records and the like will be accepted

Qualification: Candidates: Candidates must be Graduate from Arts/Commerce/ Science or equivalent stream from a recognized College/University

3. Physical Standard Test (PST)

4. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 40 Marks

Written test will be conducting through OMR based Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

Total Question: 100

Total Marks: 100 

Exam Duration: 3 Hours

Language of Questions: Assamese/ Bodo/ Bengali/English.

Negative Marking: There will be negative marking of ½ (half) mark for each wrong answer

3. General Knowledge
