14000-60500/-with Grade pay of Rs 5600/- (Pay Band-II)
Category Wise Post details:
1. Constable (AB) Male & Transgender - 2220 posts.
2. Constable (AB) Female - 180 posts
3. Constable (AB) Nursing - 50 posts.
Eligibility Criteria of Assam Police Constable Recruitment
The Candidates must follow the following criteria
1. Candidates must be permanent resident of Assam and citizen of India
2. Candidates must registered with their local employment exchange office of Assam
3. Candidates must speaking local language i.e. Assamese and any other state language fluently
4. Age: 18 Years to 21 Years (must be born on between 01-01-2000 to 01-01-2003)
Age Relaxation
i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to the SC, ST (P) and ST(H).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to the OBC/MOBC.
(iii) Additional 3 (three) years in respect of National and
International sports person who have represented
India/National Team of the state of Assam at the National or
International level in the discipline recognized by International
Olympic Committee & Indian Olympic Association. This will be
over and above the relaxation age as per Govt. existing policy.
Educational Qualification for Assam Police Constable AB 2021
i) HSLC or Equivalent examination passed from a recognized
Board or Council.
ii) In addition for the posts of Constable (Nursing), Nursing
Diploma is necessary.
Selection Process of Assam Police Constable AB Under Assam Commando Battalions 2021
Candidates whose applications are found
correct in all respect will have to undergo the Physical Standards Tests
(PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET). If any candidate is found to
have any physical deformity as may be detected by the Medical Officer
present in the Recruitment Board, he/ she will be debarred from
participating in the other tests.
