Qualification for Assistant Professor:
Assistant Prof. Assamese: For Assistant Professor Assamese Candidates must have Master Degree in specified subjects the educational qualification as per the latest guidelines published by the Govt. of Assam and must have UGC (University Grants Commission) norms.
Assistant Prof. History: For Assistant Professor Assamese Candidates must have Master Degree in specified subjects the educational qualification as per the latest guidelines published by the Govt. of Assam and must have UGC (University Grants Commission) norms.
Selection Procedure of Assistant Professor
⏩ The educational qualifications and selection procedures will be as per Govt. Office
Memo. No.- AHE.239/2021/68 Dated 24-01-2022.
⏩ The candidate must have Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and must know
local language. The candidates from outside of Assam are
requested to go through the Govt. of Assam (Higher Education) Order No.
AHE.429/2021/Pt/3, dated 01-02-2022.
⏩ Age: Not more than 38 years and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/
PwD as per Govt. Rule.
⏩ In service candidates must apply through proper channel with NOC
obtained from the concerned authority.
⏩ Incomplete application will be rejected.
